Dear listeners,

We are glad to present the new blog of Lamixtape.fr.

This is actually the third version of our blog, and it is launched on the 21st of June 2012, which, by a happy coincidence, happens to be the 30th anniversary of our French National Day for Music. This blog is meant to be complementary to lamixtape.fr, which, in its minimalistic conception, provides 9 playlists every month and nothing more. We wanted to avoid including too many descriptions or categories on the original website, so as to facilitate a quick and instinctive navigation through the playlists and to focus on music.

But the website alone does not suffice to provide all the information we need to relay about it, and we are frequently asked for the tracklistings archives and other stuff. So this blog should include at least the following categories:

• Archives: complete tracklisting of our selections and our guest’s since september 2011 (launch of lamixtape).
• Friends: presentation of each guest (blogger, artist or else) that has taken participation in the project.
• News: a page dedicated to the music news we are most interested in and want to relay.

We still want to keep things simple and intuitive, and take into consideration your feedbacks and thoughts about the service.
